Our beloved Kacy Sue went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Kacy's laugh and her smile brought joy to everyone whom she touched throughout her brief life.
Kacy was an amazing little girl, inquisitive, quick and smart. She was a girly girl, wearing pretty dresses and high heel shoes every chance she got. She loved her Princess movies, Scooby Doo and Sponge Bob Square Pants. Any time Kacy heard music, she wanted to dance. "Dancing With the Stars" was one of her favorite shows. She loved the water, whether it be fishing with Papa or swimming with Mama or Nana. She loved my Jim, her cat and my Sassy, her dog. Her bright smile won many hearts and her laughter brightened our day. When she would turn to us and say I love you, it would melt our hearts. We miss our Kacy Sue and will treasure our memories of her, holding her close to us in our hearts forever.
Kacy Sue is survived by her mother, Michelle Lunsford; Nana, Dena Lunsford; Papa, Richard Larcome; grandpa, Mike Mattos; great-grandmother, Cathy Lunsford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; her father, Michael Duda, and his family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at Grace Point Nazarene Church, 1760 E. Main St., Ashland. Please join the family following the memorial service for a celebration of Kacy Sue's life, at the Red Lion Hotel in Medford. Flowers may be sent to the church on the day of the service and memorial contributions can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank, under the name Kacy Sue Lunsford Memorial Fund.
