Ashley D. Donaldson

Ashley Devaughn Donaldson, age 75, of Medford, died Sunday, March 12, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. He was born to Inez and Richard on June 14, 1935 in Hamburg, Arkansas.
He spent much of his time playing his guitar and singing country/western music. Ashley loved to perform and was well known in his later years to entertain at many of the senior centers and nursing homes in the Rogue Valley. He was a long time and valued volunteer for the Medford Senior Center.
He is survived by his brothers, Clint, Bill, Dale, Hershell, twin sisters, Betty and Peggy, and Joann; his son, Terry and his daughters, Juanita, Tamara, Denise and Rachell; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives Eva and Erma, his parents and oldest brother Haskel.
A chapel viewing and funeral service will be held at Memory Gardens Mortuary, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Oregon. Viewing on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 3:00pm - 6:00 pm and funeral services, Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:00pm and will be officiated by his brother, Pastor Bill Donaldson. Friends and fans of his music are welcome to attend both the viewing and his funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Medford Senior Center, 510 E Main, Medford, Ore. 97504 will be greatly appreciated.
