Barbara Ann Long

Barbara Ann Long, 47, of Medford passed Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, OR. She was born Oct. 1, 1961 in Fort Ord(Monterey), CA. to Robert & Denise(Covey)Walker. In 2001 in S.Lake Tahoe, NV., she married Darrell A. Long who survives. Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for Erickson Air Crane in Central Point, OR. She came to the Rogue Valley from Crescent City, CA. She was an Oregon Hunter Education Instructor. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, tatting(making lace) and hunting. She was an NRA member. Survivors in addition to Darrell include her parents; Robert & Denise Walker of Crescent City, CA., two stepdaughters; Sarah Marie Long of IL., and Susan Denise Long of Central Point, OR., a stepson Andrew Wm. Long of Central Point, OR., two brothers; Rob(Gayla) Walker of Fresno, CA., and Mark(Rene)Walker of White City, OR., a sister Sara Sherman of Buford, GA. Memorial services will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Memory Gardens Chapel. A reception will follow. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
