Betty Louise Gould

Bettyjane Louise Gould, 89, of Medford, OR passed Monday, November 1, 2010 at Providence Medford Medical Center. She was born November 28, 1920 in Los Angeles, CA to Lawrence Tullis & Lillian Lucille (Shaw) Staten. In 1950 in Reno, NV, she married Albert Gould, who preceded her in death in 1992. Two children also preceded her in death: Marcia Presgrave Eidman and William J. Hedrick.
Betty came to the Rogue Valley in 1945. She worked in the personnel department of the Rogue River National Forest from 1959 to 1981. Betty was a member of the Keeneway Church of Christ. She enjoyed crotcheting, traveling and the Oregon coast.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Lemly of Medford, OR; a brother, William Staten of Medford, OR; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildern.
Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2010 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Memory Gardens Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at the Memory Gardens Chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation.
