Bill L. Bartley, 80 of Medford, Ore. passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Providence Medford Medical Center. He was born to William Franklin and Ida Bell (Cotham) Bartley on September 20, 1932 in Ripley County, Missouri.
He married Bernice in Crescent City. Cal. on November 25, 1994 and they moved to Central Point, Ore in 2003. Bill was a Rancher, self taught in business, farming, ranching, carpentry and plumbing. He loved family, friends livestock, gardening, carpentry and volunteering. He was a supporter of the FFA, Farm Bureau and was a church trustee.
Bill is survived by his wife, Bernice of Central Point, Ore; sons, Dwaine Bartley of Selma, Ore, Greg Bartley of Dickenson, ND, Curt Bartley of Ft. Dick, Cal; daughters, Carolyn Martin of Homosassa, Fl, Theresa Vaughn, Lafe, AR, Joanna Dority of Belton, MO and sister, Joyce Stoffer of Joplin, MO; step-children, Michael Serna of Ontario, Cal, Alex Serna of Crescent City, Cal, Judy Swier of Detroit Lakes, MN and Paula Ortiz of Central Point, Ore. and 25 grandchildrens, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeff Bartley and three sisters.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 3:30pm to 7:30pm at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Ore. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00pm at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Larry Read of New Life Community Church officiating. www.memorygardenmortuary.com
