Billy Riley Beck (Bill) 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 17 in Medford, OR. He was Born on February 15, 1938 in Coffeeville, MS: he was the Son of the late William T. Beck and Lucille Riley Beck.
Memorial service will be at Lozier Lane Baptist Church 794 Lozier Ln, Medford, OR 97501 at 11:00 am Saturday August 26th 2017. Pastor Michael Franell will officiate.
Bill married the love of his life Clara Sue Murphree on May 20th 1955.
They moved to Medford in 1962 and he started working for Yow's heating and sheet metal until starting his own business Valley Heating & Sheet Metal in 1968 until retiring in 2004. Bill was a member and Deacon at Lozier Lane Baptist Church. He was a hardworking devoted husband and father, enjoyed traveling extensively as well as spending time with family and friends. Bill's special interests and hobbies included caring for God's creations through gardening and rock collecting.
He is survived by wife Clara Sue Beck, Daughter Brenda Dewey, Son-in-Law
Mark Dewey, Grandchildren - Emily Huntley, Chad Probst, Jalynn Dewey and Kaydence Dewey, Sisters-in-law Martha Wagner, Sheila Yater Beck, Joann Murphree, Brother-in-law John Murphree, Cousins Harry Sugg, Nelda Patton, Martha Parker, and Joan Cash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Riley Beck and William Tillman Beck, Sr.; Son Billy Fred Beck, Sister Linda Beck Williams, two brothers, William Tillman Beck, Jr. and Bobby Gene Beck and Brother-in-law Jim A. Murphree
