Charlotte N. (Walker) Seely On Thursday, October 30, 2009 Charlotte N. Seely, at the age of 88, passed from the bonds of old age and is once again the happy, fun loving soul that was truly her. Her family has a long history in this area. Her grandfather came by covered wagon at the age of 13 to Grants Pass, Oregon, which is where her father was born. Eventually the family moved to Gold Hill where her father Clyde Walker married Laura Clark. In time they had 3 children of which Charlotte was the youngest. Growing up in the country was difficult, especially for a young girl who lived too far away to participate in most activities with her friends, so when she could, she moved to Medford where she worked at the Coffee Pot Restruant, J.C. Pennys and Mongomery Wards. Where she met her future husband, Raymond V. Seely who went to have a 25 year career as a Medford City Police Officer. Eventually they had two daughters and in time welcomed their son-in-law Alan Hagle into the family. Their two daughters, Karen Hagle and Joyce Seely, a brother and sister-in-law Leo and Lo Walker, and her eldest bother Leslie Walker survive her. Although her family was small, she considered many of her friends family. (Several of you were here through everything and we, her daughters, cannot thank you enough. We would also like to thank Regina, Sue and Jennifer at Hospice.) Her parents, husband, son-in-law and two dogs Muffin and Daisy awaited her arrival in heaven A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at a friend's home.
