Cleon Nellie Young, 80 years of Ashland, OR, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Alderwood Assisted Living in Central Point. She was born to Rodney and Clarice Garrett on August 11, 1930 in Ashland, Oregon.
Don Young and Cleon married on August 9, 1947 in Reno, Nevada. She lived in the Rogue Valley all of her life. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, camping and fishing.
Cleon is survived by her sons, Ray Young of Las Vegas, NV and Ron Young of White City, OR; sister, Clema Maifeld of Willard, MO; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2007; brothers, Clyde, Claud Garrett; sister, Cleta Heitsmith; and step-mother, Ethel Garrett.
