Dale Hawes, age 83, passed away in Medford, Ore.; on Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was born on December 28, 1929 to parents Jay L. and Phyrne V. Corum Hawes in LaGrande, Oregon.
Dale married his wife Geraldine on May 25, 1968 in Reno, Nevada. She passed away in 2006. He has resided in the Rogue Valley since 2003, and was a heavy equipment operator for a logging operation when he was working. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching old Western's, and he is a Veteran of the United States Army, earning the rank of Corporal.
Dale is survived by daughters Tracy Maxwell, Medford, Ore.; Sue Fleming, Bonney Lake, Washington, sons Stan Hawes, Bob Hawes of Orting, Washington, Steve Hawes of Tampa, Florida, 8 grandchildren, and 6 greatgrandchildren.
