Darwin Lynn Charlesworth
August 29, 1957 — September 13, 2019
Darwin “Doc” Lynn Charlesworth passed away unexpectedly from a sudden illness on September 13th, 2019.
Born in San Luis Obispo, CA, August 29th, 1957, to parents William and Evalora Charlesworth. Darwin spent a good share of his youth in Imperial Beach, CA. He loved the ocean where he learned to scuba dive, spear fish and deep sea fish. When he entered High School, he moved to Macdoel, CA and attended Butte Valley High School. After High School he joined the US Army and trained to be a Ballistics Specialist.
Darwin enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, camping, riding his Harley Davidson and “gardening”. He had an exceptional green thumb!! Darwin had a wicked sense of humor, he was whip smart, he believed in the power of crystals and had a heart of gold.
Darwin was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Evy Charlesworth, and his daughter Rosie Charlesworth. Survivors include his brother and wife, Larry and Alice Charlesworth, sisters and husbands, Kat and Stan Larson and Tammy and David Salcedo. Numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by family and his many, very special lifelong friends. Private services will be held at a later date.
