Davis Jensen

Davis "Ike" Isaac Jensen, 61, of Medford, OR. passed Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009. He was born April 1, 1948 in Klamath Falls, OR. to Joseph Farrin & Mary Anona(Stanger) Jensen. He came to the Rogue Valley when just a child. He retired from Fire District 5 after 20 years of service as Assistant Chief. He then went on to Eugene, OR. to become Head Emergency Management Coordinator in Lane County for 13 years. Ike enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, was a dedicated Oregon Ducks Fan and fast cars & motorcycles. He served honorably in the US Army during the Viet Nam war. Ike is survived by five children; son Tim Nielsen of Salem, OR., son Tory Jensen of Medford, OR., daughter Carrie Jensen-Macken of Tulelake, CA., son Kyle Jensen of Kaiser, OR., and daughter Sarah Jensen of Kaiser, OR. Five grandchildren; Tanner Nielsen, Marrisa Macken, Nicholas Macken, Jordan Jensen and Isaac Jensen, two sisters; Janette Nelson of WA., and Joanne Hecox of Grants Pass, OR., a brother Farrin Jensen of Medford, OR. Funeral services with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009 at Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, OR. Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements.
