November 5, 1969-December 30, 2018

Donald Vincent Ball, age 49, of Medford Oregon, was born on November 5, 1969, in La Mirada, California, to Donald and Lorraine Ball. He passed away suddenly at home from a heart attack on Sunday, December 30, 2018, surrounded by his family.

His family moved to the Rogue Valley when he was six months old. While growing up, he was a member of West Main Church of Christ. He graduated from South Medford High School in 1988 and continued his education at O.I.T. and S.O.U. majoring in mathematics. He enjoyed going to the Crater High School sporting events of his niece and nephew and good movies (especially the Star Wars series) and dinners with his family and friends. He enjoyed music all of his life and was in the school band from 4th-12th grades. He played the saxophone in the school band and also played the piano and guitar. He was an Oregon Ducks and Chargers fan and enjoyed watching the football games with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching Drag Racing with his family and friends.

He was a kind and gentle soul that was fiercely devoted to his family and friends. He was always quick with his wit and he loved a good joke. We love you and will never forget your infectious laugh. May you fly with the angels and rest in the arms of our Lord.

He is survived by his parents, Don and Lorraine Ball, his sister, Ronalie Sweet (Randy), and their children, Carissa Murray (Cory) and Cameron, and his maternal grandmother, Elva Fulkerson, along with numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crater High School Foundation Scholarship Fund or the Christian Relief Fund at West Main Church of Christ. Private family services will be held. He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford, OR.
