Don Kuyper left this world the afternoon of February 5, 2021. He lost his battle with stage 4 Lymphoma. He was born in Luverne, Minnesota to Clarence and Winnie Kuyper. He had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. His family left farming in 1956 and moved to Artesia, California to begin a new adventure. Don finished his high school education at Bellflower High School in Southern California. He married Melva Kreun in the summer of 1960. They were blessed with four wonderful children: Craig, Michael, Jeffrey, and Denise. He enjoyed a 31-year career as a systems program manager. In retirement he enjoyed travel and golfing. During his life he looked forward to spending time with his family: camping, going on cruises, traveling throughout the United States and Canada. His favorite destination was the beautiful state of Alaska. Ultimately, his faith in God and his desire to be with his Heavenly Father, have been evident as he lived his life. Don had a heart for serving his Lord and Savior by meeting the needs of others. He was actively involved at Community Bible Church for over 20 years. Some of his activities included singing in the choir, leading Bible studies, and participating as an elder within the church. He leaves behind his wife, Melva; son, Craig and wife, Kathy; son, Michael and wife, Pauline; son, Jeffrey (deceased) and his widow, Treva; daughter Denise and husband, James; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 13th at Community Bible Church in Central Point.
