Donna L. Hunter, Oct. 29, 1935-August 8, 2009, born in Medford, Ore., to Ruth and Doug Smith.
She married Wayne Hunter in Medford, Ore., on June 27, 1953 who survives, along with children, Richard and Randy of Medford. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Rene, who died in 2000. surviving are Stepbrother, Douglas Smith of Central Point. Niece, Terry Cummins of Portland. GrandChildren, Amy Castillo of Medford; Michael Marshall of Medford & Great Grandchild, Cole Zigler of Medford.
Donna was loved by everyone she touched. Her children, grandchildren, friends and flowers were her enjoyment and doing for others. She will be greatly missed.
Donna passed away at Three Fountains Nursing Home with family at her side. After fighting cancer for nine years, she passed from a stroke. She has traded her worn out body for one that doesn't hurt and to be with the Lord and her daughter.
No funeral is planned. A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
