Doris Ellen Owens

Doris was born at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford, OR to J. Deane & B. Ellen Owens. She grew up on a cattle ranch and graduated from Crater High School June 4th, 1959. During her time there she played drums all through school & was voted F.F.A. Sweetheart. Doris then furthered her education at Oregon State University by graduating with a degree in teaching physical education and health on June 6th, 1965. For most of her teaching career, she was employed at David Douglas High School in Portland, OR. During that time she met & married Ronald Kostman. Together they had 4 children. She is survived by daughter Keely DeBerry (Kostman) and husband Bryan DeBerry of Trail, OR, and their two children Bryan R. DeBerry & Kiera DeBerry, twin sons Kevin Kostman & wife Kristin Kostman (Crane) of Eagle Point OR, and their two children Callie Kostman and Brayden Kostman, son Kyle Kostman of Albany OR and daughter Morgan Kostman and Kia Kostman (Hauck) and her husband David Hauck of Ashland OR. She is preceded in death of her mother B. Ellen Owens (Lofland), husband Ronald Kostman and her father J. Deane Owens.
