Duane Bert Whaley, 66 of Medford, Ore. passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 11, 1945 in Medford,Ore.
Duane spent 20 years traveling with the Air Force, including Viet Nam, and retired in 1989, to move back to where he grew up here in the Rogue Valley. He was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by daughters, Heather Kirby of Shreveport, LA., Christina Davis of Apple Valley, CA., nieces, Monique Rush of Medford, Ore., Nichole Shaw of Medford, Ore. and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother.
Graveside services were held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park with Pastor Lee Gregory from Medford Neighborhood Church presiding. The family has ask in lieu of flowers please donate in Duane's name to Providence Hospice.
