Duane Alden Wolfe

Duane Alden Wolfe, age 79 years, passed Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home. He was born July 5, 1938 in Corvallis, OR. to parents Harvey Loman Wolfe and Orace Luella Calkins. He married Fay Lida(Konopasek) Wolfe who survives.  Duane has four children; daughters Connie, Diana and Wende and a son Brett and seven grandchildren.He was a longtime Portland Trailblazer and University of Oregon Duck fan. Duane was an active member of the Oregon Hunters Assn(OHA) and lifetime member of the Rocky mountain Elk Foundation(RMEF) and MC'd and attended many banquets. Needless to say he enjoyed hunting - especially elk. He participated in the Active 20-30 club and the Boys & Girls club. He & Fay were volunteers and ran a route for the "Green Bag" food donation/collection program. While in the Portland area he  operated a building supply company and also an Oregonian newspaper distribution business. He could always be counted on to attend and support the grandchildren in their school, sporting events and creative endeavors.  He will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford, OR. Donations are suggested to either; Rocky mountain Elk Foundation or the American Lung Association.
