Elaine Caroline Chase (Louden)

Elaine C. Chase passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday - February 20, 2015 at the age of 94.
She was born July 9, 1920 in Portland, Oregon to George B. Louden and Elizabeth Krook Louden who preceded her in death.
She graduated from Vernonia High School and married Merle J. Chase on August 10, 1940 in Vancouver, Washington. Merle and Elaine moved to the Rogue Valley in 1992 from Rainier, Oregon. They resided in Central Point, Oregon before moving to an assisted living facility. Merle preceded her in death on August 18, 2006. Elaine was a member of the Elks Lodge in Long Beach, Washington; the Moose Lodge in Medford; and the Lions Club in Rainier, Oregon. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, golfing, hunting, camping, cards, BINGO, and looked forward to "Happy Hour" at the end of the day.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Fred Louden, Louie Louden, Bill Louden, Bob Louden, Betty Sanders, Marian Bennett, and Willa McPeak.
Survivors include brother-in-law; Lyle Chase and wife Eunice of Rainier, Oregon. Sister-in-law; Grace Collett of Rainier, Oregon. Son; Ron Chase and wife Alice of Henderson, Nevada. Daughter; Lyn Anhorn and husband John of Medford, Oregon. Grandchildren: Tami & Scott Reed, Danielle & RJ Glover, Peter & Jennifer Anhorn, Jennifer Chase, Jeanne Chase and Patricia & Geoff Elmer and eight Great-Grandchildren.
