Elwood Emerline

Elwood "Barney" Bernard Emerine, 79, of Medford passed Monday, July 2, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM , Tuesday, July 10, 2008 at Memory Gardens Chapel. Private family interment will follow at Butte Falls cemetery. Visitation was Monday, July 9, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memory Gardens. As one of eleven children, Barney was born Feb. 10, 1929 in San Francisco, CA. to Elwood & Phoebe(Bowen) Emerline and came to southern Oregon when only two years old. In 1964 he married Delberta "Bert" Spain who survives. He worked for nearly twenty years at Carolina Pacific which later changed to SWF Products. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gold mining and most all the outdoors. In addition to Bert he is survived by daughters: Debra Emerline of Medford, Darla Emerline of Medford and Terena McFarland of Salem, OR. a son Gary Emerline of Albany, OR. a sister Ida Martin of Madras, OR., a brother William "Bill" Emerline of AL., four grandchildren: Taylor DeLauney, Nicholas Burris, Rebecca Jenkins-Carroll, Victoria Walter.
