Evelyn Lorraine Risley

Evelyn Lorraine Risley beloved Mother, Grandmother and Friend, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011. She was 91 years old. She was born in Rose Lake, Idaho on February 23, 1920 to Jackson Lockwood and Lydia Etta (Marlette) Glynn.
Evelyn married Charles A. Risley on June 4, 1938 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the church, the most recent in the Family History Center for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and working on her geneology.
She is survived by son, Michael (Ann) C. Risley of Eugene, Ore, Dolores (Loyd) L. Walker of Medford, Ore and Elaine (Rod) L. Fuller of Walterville, Ore. Eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Risley, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A viewing was held at 10:00am Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on 2900 Juanipero Way in Medford, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your favorite chariety.
