Floyd Lee Hackworth, 77 of Central Point, Oregon passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Washington to Floyd and Elsie Hackworth, the middle child of 13.
He married Louise McGee in 1962, but later divorced. He married Gale Bowers in 1975. Lee worked as a roofer and general contractor. He serviced in the U.S. Army in 1959-1962.
Lee enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing when younger. He was the family funny guy.
Lee is survived by his wife, Gale; childern, Leighton Bates, Brenda Stead, Darci Patterson and Steve Hackworth; gransons, T.J. White, Keenan Patterson, Sage Patterson, Ryan & Joseph Hackworth; granddaughter, Michelle White; 8 Great-Grandchildern. brothers & sisters, Lawrence Hackworth, Gordon Hackworth, Ken Hackworth, Phil Hackworth, Hazel Brown, Connie Godfrey and Tom Hackworth. He was preceded in death by his parent, brothers & sisters, Bernice Main, Lloyd Hackworth, Ethel, Gene Hackworth, & Delmar Hackworth.
A memorial graveside will be held at 11:00a.m. Friday May 12, 2017 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
