March 8, 1919 - July 2, 2008
Born in Villisca, Iowa Frances married the late Denzil Findley in 1936 and they moved to California in 1943. When he retired from U.S. Steel in the 1970's they decided to move to Central Point, Oregon and pursue a second career of chicken farming. They were able to celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary before Denzil's death in 2001. Frances then returned to Pittsburg, living with her daughter Judy.
Frances is survived by her daughter Judy Dawson of Pittsburg, 3 Grandsons; Demetrios, Douglas and Dennis Katrones and 1 granddaughter Deborah Moreno and her husband Fred. 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as a brother Tom Smith of Antioch and a very special canine friend, Albert.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her son Gene Findley who died in 1991.
Private family services will be held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford Oregon.
