Frances Evelyn Palmieri (Hawthorne)

Frances Evelyn Palmieri went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. She passed in her beloved cottage in Medford, Oregon.
Born in Los Angeles, California on December 19, 1929, she was primarily raised on a walnut ranch in Visalia, California along with her 5 brothers. She returned to Los Angeles in her late teens and eventually worked for Western Freight Company. On January 3, 1959 she married the love of her life, Richard Palmieri. She helped him for many years run his business, Godeau and Martinoni Funeral Home. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2000.
Frances was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devoted volunteer, working for over 25 years, primarily in Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in various departments. Her red hair, bright smile and sparkling personality won many hearts and she sought to share the love of Chrsit at every turn.
She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Kaimie (Charles) Medford, Oregon and Anna Michelle Griffith (Marc) Somis, California; 4 grandchildren, Richard Kaimie (Chandler) Portland, Oregon; Conner, Victoria and Camryn Griffith, Somis, California.
The family will hold a private service and then memorial honoring her life in September. Memorial donations should be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 East McAndrews Road, Medford OR 97504
