Sally Dell, 84, of Central Point, OR., passed away July 25, 2008, at Providence Medford Medical Center, due to age related complications.
Sally was born Frances Laverne McGregor at home on a farm in Ontario, OR. in 1923 to John Jay McGregor and Frances Helen Leavitt. She was the youngest of three, with two older brothers. At 8 years of age, her father passed away, leaving her mother to raise the three children during depression times.
Sally graduated from Redding High School. Moving to Alameda, CA., she met and married William Francis Dell in 1947. Buying a home in Hayward, CA., they raised two sons, Dennis and Donald. Later moving to El Sobrante, CA. Sally was active in the Model A Ford Club for over 52 Years, she traveled and enjoyed social activities. Other hobbies included gardening and genealogy.
In 2003 Sally and Bill moved to Central Point, OR., enjoying retirement and quiet home life.
Besides her husband and two sons, Sally is survived by her brother Elzie McGregor of Anderson, CA., eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Sally's funeral was held at Memory~Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR., Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 3:00PM (541-773-7338)
