Frank Eugene Josephson

Frank Eugene Josephson, 92, of Medford passed Thursday, April 9, 2009. Frank was born June 11, 1916 in Yankee Hill, CA. to Oliver C. & Katherine (Clark) Josephson. In Hollywood, CA. in 1944 he married Lucille S. Smith who survives. Frank & Lucille came to Southern Oregon in 1950 from Long Beach, CA. He worked his way up to foreman at Double D Lumber Co. in Central Point, OR.
Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, Pinochle and was never too tired for a good game of Turkey Tracks dominos. He served in the US Navy during WWII.
Survivors in addition to Lucille include a daughter, Joyce (Richard) Tuttle of Medford, OR., a son, Gary E. Josephson of Willamina, OR.; three grandchildren, Scott Tuttle of West Jordan, UT., Stephen Tuttle of Provo, UT., Suzanne Lee of Midvale, UT.; two great grandchildren, Henry and Benjamin Tuttle of Provo, UT. Frank was preceded by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house on 3456 Bellinger Lane with visitation from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Graveside services will follow at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the LDS Humanitarian Fund, 3456 Bellinger Lane, Medford, OR 97501.
