Gary James Tuer, age 66, of Medford, Oregon passed on Friday, October 25, 2013 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. He was born July 8, 1947 in Berkeley, California to Gerald Thomas and Edna Mae Tuer.
He enlisted in the United State Army in 1966 and served in the Vietnam war. He was honored with several decorations, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge and Vietnam Service Medal. He worked as a plaster in the construction industry and then retired.
Graveside service is scheduled with military honors for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Oregon.
