Gaylee Oakes, 77 of Medford, Oregon passed away at her home with her family around her on Sunday, March 6, 2011. She was born on January 23, 1934 to Oliver and Hazel (Schmidt) Ingle in Portland, Oregon.
Gaylee graduated from Crater High in 1951 and married Thomas Oakes in 1959 in Nevada. She became a local bank operations supervisor. She was the President of the Northwest Bird Club that she started with some of her bird friend and was a distributor of Sleek and Sassy Birdseed.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Oakes and Debbie Forde; grandchildren, Matthew Oakes, Whitney Waddell, Jadyne Martin Solario, Alex and Roman Solario, Carry, Lynn, & Penny Oakes and Sister, Joy Ingle.
Gaylee was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Oakes,. brother, Angel Ingle and son, Scott Oakes, granddaughter, Lucy Waddell, and her mother, Hazel Ingel, and mother-in-law, Lily Oakes.

A graveside service was be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 14, 2011 here at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
