Glenn V. Moffet

Glenn V. Moffet, 95, of Jacksonville, OR. passed Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009 in Medford. He was born May 16, 1913 to William and Gertrude(Brusven) Moffet. On July 13, 1940 he married Lula Metzger in Medford. They lived in Medford for two years then moved to the Bay area of CA. until returning to Jacksonville, OR. in 2006. He graduated with a BS from OSU. He was a school teacher for Oakland Poly Technical High School in Oakland, CA. He served in the US Army Air Corps, 89th Bomb Squadron, T/Sgt. He loved traveling, coin collecting and photography. He was a very loving and special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Survivors include his wife Lula, of Jacksonville, OR., a sister Hazel Scharfer. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, Medford, OR. Interment was in Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
