Harold Lee Twedell Sr

August 15, 1921 — February 20, 2020

Harold Lee Twedell Sr, age 98 years, passed peacefully at his home in Eagle Point on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020. He was born Aug. 15, 1921 in Williamsfield, IL to parents William Henry & Ella May(Harris) Twedell. In 1940 he married Betty Louise Jenkins who preceded him in 2009. Harold & Betty had 5 boys; Terry, Jim, Harold Jr, Donald and David. Harold served in the US Army during WWII. He will be laid to rest beside Betty in a private family ceremony in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. A public memorial service is being planned and will be announced.
