Ila Mae Savage, 87, of Medford, died Friday, October 26, 2007 at Bloom of Life Care Center.
Ila was born March 11, 1920, in Burley, ID to Melvin McLaws and Sarah Ann Haynes. On August 1937, she married James Wallace Savage, who preceded her in 1968.
Ila had been in Southern Oregon since 1946. She was a Lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and volunteered with the LDS Relief Society. She enjoyed collecting and making dolls, baking cookies, and playing games with her grandchildren.
She is survived by: Sons - Walter James Savage, of Central Point, OR. David M. Savage, of Phoenix, OR. A Daughter - Julie M. Davee, of Medford, OR. A Brother - Kenneth McLaws, of Bremerton, WA. Three sisters - Floretta Loose, of Eugene, OR. Donna Rash, of Stanfield, OR Luella Morley, of Phoenix, OR 12 Grandchildren 27 Great-Grandchildren 7 Great- Great-Granchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Diane Mae Casner and Flora Anna Saage, 5 brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.
The funeral service wil be 12:00pm, on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints, 3456 Bellinger Lane, Medford,OR. Interment will follow at Memory-Gardens Memorial Park.
