Geneva was born in Bakersfield, CA. As a child, she loved tap dancing and roller skating. She was a graduate of East Bakersfield High School where she met the love of her life, Ewell, whom she married in 1949. She was an avid singer and had a wonderful soprano voice. Not long after getting married, she sang church hymns on live radio Sunday mornings. Geneva also loved reading daily scriptures and found joy in decorating, cooking, entertaining others, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful and essential helper to her husband while he operated a small business for 18 years. Geneva had a tender heart and always had the right thing to say to a friend or loved one in need. She will be truly missed.

A private service will be held at Memory Gardens for immediate family on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. A memorial will be scheduled in the coming months to celebrate her life. One of Geneva's favorite verses was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Heaven has gained a beautiful new angel.
