Jackie Lee Webster, age 69, of Roseburg, Ore. passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Medford, Ore. He was born September 2, 1943 in Vancouver, WA to Leo D. Webster and Doris M. Newland. Jack moved to Medford as a child and attended Medford schools through High School.
He graduated from Southern Oregon College in Ashland and earned his Master's Degree in Education from University of Oregon. He then moved to Roseburg, where he taught for 30 years at Joseph Lane middle school. He was a member of the Retired Teachers Assn. and Oregon Education Assn. He also served in the US Army for three years in the early part of his teaching career. Jack enjoyed computers, reading, traveling and especially his loving family.
Survivors include a sister, Vickie Wise of Medford, a brother Ron Webster of Sams Valley and many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Oregon Heart Assn. Private services were held at Memory Gardens Memorial Park and Mortuary last Monday.
