Jane Ogborn

Jane was born on March 21, 1927 in Libby, Montana to Voyed and Agnes Bliss.  Her family lived in Medford for a short time and then moved to Prospect.  After attending Medford schools Jane worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford where she eventually met her husband Elmer.  They married in 1948 and built a life in Talent where they raised their two daughters.  Jane loved gardening, quilting, baking, and crafting.  She was famous for her wedding cakes and her hand crafted pine cone/owl displays.  She spent many hours collecting just the perfect cones, knurled wood and moss for her crafts.  She also spent many winter hours sitting at her quilting frame making beautiful quilts for her family and friends.



Jane is survived by her daughters Betty Wiest (Mark) and Shirl Bandy (Rich) and 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.



Jane was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, her parents, brothers Earl and David Bliss and a grandson.



There will be a viewing Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 9:30am-10:30am at Conger Morris Funeral Home 767 S Riverside Ave, Medford, followed by  a graveside funeral service on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Memorial Park 2201 N Phoenix Rd, Medford.
