Joe Wayland Casad

The memorial service for Joe W. Casad will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Memory-Gardens Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR. He celebrated his 90th birthday last September. He passed peacefully on April 5th. Born in Holland, OR. on Sept. 21, 1917 he graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1936 and later attended Pasadena Jr. College. Joe joined the US Army in 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1945. He met his wife Mary while living in Pasadena, CA. They were married in Yuma, AZ. in 1940. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially woodworking projects for his wife, children and grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his wife in 1995, his daughter Martha in 1991 and two brothers. He is survived by three sisters and one brother, three sons, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
