John David Favero

John David Favero was born in Yreka, California May 21, 1956;  he died June 18, 2020 at his home outside of Central Point, Oregon.  He was 64.John was the youngest of 3 children of Alfred and Carol Favero.  He attended Yreka Elementary and Yreka High School.  He then continued his college education in Chico, California where he started his long rewarding career working with special needs children and adults.John was preceded in death by his father Alfred Favero.  He leaves his mother Carol Favero, his 2 sisters Mary Ann Anderson and Donna Wilm; his nieces and nephew Brandy, Lisa, Eric, and Britt.  John was also known as “Uncle John” to many more of his family and friends children.John was a positive role model and mentor to all….Always giving of himself and ready to lend a helping hand or by providing words of encouragement, wisdom, and love. He was deeply devoted to his family and friends and touched so many lives.  Each day when we go out we take a little bit of John with us.A Memorial Mass will be held later this summer as restrictions from the pandemic allow.
