Joseph Michael "Joe" Saia

"Joe" Joseph Michael Saia, age 66, of Medford, Oregon passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Providence Medford Medical Center. He was born June 7, 1945 to Joseph and Helen (Murray) Saia in Livermore, California.
Joe married Jan Haskell on August 17, 1974 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1997. He had owed and operated his own sporting goods store. He enjoyed hunting, pool, fishing and camping. Joe was a member of APA, BPA and the Eagles Lodge.
Joe is survived by his wife Jan; son Scott A. Saia of Coos Bay, Oregon; mother Helen Saia of Livermore, California; brothers Robert Saia of Oakdale, California and Thomas Saia of Tracy, California and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Saia and brother Greg Saia.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Memory Gardens Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford Ore. Officiating Paul Hagedorn. The family has requested that those attending please wear bright colored clothing to celebrate Joe.
