Joyce Winifred Jacobs

Joyce Winifred Jacobs, age 89, of Ashland, Oregon passed Wednesday, July 27, 2011. She was born June 12, 1922 in Ashland, OR. to Clarence & Ama Fedelia(Harris) Taylor. Joyce was fortunate to live in and around beautiful southern Oregon all her life. On July 22, 1939 she married Harold Raymond Jacobs who preceded her in 1990. When younger Joyce had waitressed in Ashland and later was an Avon Lady. Declining health forced her to leave her beloved Ashland and move to the Grants Pass area to live with and be near her daughter Sharon J. Starke. She was a member of the Ashland Christian Church and later the Merlin Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed gardening and yard work. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Oregon Cancer Society. She will be laid to rest beside her husband Harold in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, OR.
