Katherine Rhea Bates

Katherine Rhea Bates, age 57, of McMinnville, Oregon and formerly of Medford, Oregon, Salt Lake City, Utah and  Pendleton, Oregon, passed away on Friday, November 8th in McMinnville. She was raised in Pendleton and graduated from Pendleton High School. She then lived in Salt Lake City for 10 years where her 3 children were born. In 1995 she moved to Medford. Her children graduated from St. Mary's School. She then moved to McMinnville.She is survived by her mother Sue, brother Richard, daughter Katie, sons Andrew and Christopher.She was very much loved and will be greatly missed by her family.There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, November the 23rd at 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary located at 1395 Arnold Lane in Medford. A celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM at the Bates home.
