Larry D. Irby
Larry went to heaven April 12, 2010, after a ten-year battle with cancer. His wife, Kay, and daughters, Diana (Shane) Doran and Nancy (Jeff) Bailey, were at his side. He was born on January 16, 1935, to Marie Wilson, in Grandview, Wash. Larry married Kay, his high school sweetheart, in Hanford Calif., on March 19, 1955, after serving in the United States Marine Corp. during the Korean War.
While his trade was welding, he spent his free time collecting antique toys, gardening and drawing. His artwork was showcased by the Medford Jazz Jubilee posters from 1999-2003. He enjoyed traveling with his family and friends and spending time with his four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Glen David.
Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to the Southern Oregon Humane Society or CATS.
