Leland Vance Blackburn, 94, of Central Point, Oregon passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013. Leland was born March 26, 1918 in Byron, OK. to George and Mabel Blackburn. Leland was married to Mary (Scott) Blackburn for 33 years. Leland is survived by sons Ralph, Wayne and Kerry, and by daughter Susan (Blackburn) Reynolds, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 gr. gr. grandchildren.
Leland is a graduate of USC and practiced Civil Engineering and Land Surveying at the California Department of Transportation for 31 years, retiring in 1981.
Leland was a member of Grace Church in Central Point. His hobbies were dancing and Fly Fishing.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Medford, Oregon.
