Lou-Ann Berkheimer, 64, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at home in Central Point, Ore. with her three children by her side. She was born May 1, 1949 to Wilbur James and Jessie Lorraine (Griffith) Berkheimer in LaMesa, Calif. Lou-Ann grew up in Sams Valley and graduated from Crater High School. She lived in Central Point for the past 22 years.
Lou-Ann was a successful self-employed business owner and a Homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Robert Dee Cantwell (Sarah) of Portland, Ore., Daniel Sean Cantwell (Melissa) of Central Point, Ore., and Theresa Collen (Cantwell) Horne of Sams Valley, Ore.; father, Wilbur James Berkheimer of Sams Valley, Ore.; sisters, Linda (Berkheimer) Sanger of Salem, Ore. and Billie-Jo (Berkheimer) Osborne of Sams Valley, Ore.; seven grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, and Julia of Portland, Ore., Nicholas of Sams Valley, Ore., and Cynthia, Simon, and Samuel of Central Point, Ore. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Lorraine (Griffith) Berkheimer; sister, Julie Rae (Berkheimer) Lambson; and brother, Jesse James Berkheimer.
Lou-Ann has been laid to rest at Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary, Medford, Ore. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, March 29, 2014 at Table Rock Fellowship Church, Central Point, Ore.
