Louie Wayne Fair, age 72, of Medford, OR. passed Wednesday, Dec. 19 ,2012 at his home. He was born Dec. 7, 1940 in Vinita, OK. to Louie Austin & Velda Eveline(Beck) Fair. He graduated from Sedro-Wooley High School in 1959. He then completed his accounting degree at Platt College of Commerce in St. Joseph, MO. in 1961.
Louie worked locally for Central Point Farm Direct Feed & Supply from 1975-1985 then as controller for SOS(Southern Oregon Sales) from 1986-1993.
He was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church in Central Point. He had lived and worked in Washington, Medford, Pendleton, Vinita, OK. coming back to Medford the last couple years. Louie enjoyed traveling and music. He attained level of 4th degree in the Knights of Columbus. His friends and family knew him as a kind and generous man. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Lucille Olson of Central Point, OR., and Velma Swartos of Blaine, WA. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00AM Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church with Fr. Jim Clifford officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
