Louis Gordan Willits Sr.

September 5, 1946 — August 7, 2020

Louis Willits Sr. was born September 5, 1947, to William Willits and Evelyn (Bissinger) Willits. He passed from our world Friday, August 7, 2020.  In 1967, Louie married his wife Glenda (Furry) Willits who survives. They raised 3 children: daughter  Kimberly (John) Willits Littlefield , and sons Louis(Kimi) Willits Jr., and Scott(Shannon) Willits .  He was a Papa to 4 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Louie may have only been 5’9” in height, but to his family and those who met him, he was larger than life. He was a prankster. He was ornery. He had the best laugh!  He was a fighter, not afraid of anything. Nothing was more important to him than his family. Louie worked hard, spending 20 years at Parsons Pine Products providing for his family. He loved his kids, teaching them to be independent. He taught his boys to cook and his daughter to change the oil and tires on a car. He was always there, always with his children, cheering them on, supporting them, sharing life lessons. Louie played hard too. He loved all things outdoors. The entire Willits clan was always together; skiing, camping, fishing, and hunting. His most favorite time of year was opening weekend of hunting season spent at the old Hyatt Lake campground with the entire family and countless friends. Louie was about family. His family always came first!
Louie is also survived by his 3 brothers, and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, mother, sister Ali Ross and niece Melissa Willits.
