Margaret Ann Schlothan
January 30, 1932 — February 11, 2014
Margaret (Peggy) Ann Schlothan, 82, passed away peacefully February 11, 2014 in her home with family. She was born January 30, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to Severin and Berniece Walter.
Peggy relocated to San Francisco, Calif. in 1955 where she met, and later married, Fredrick Schlothan. Fred and Peggy resided in the San Francisco Bay Area until coming to Oregon in 1983.
Peggy managed Holly's Hallmark from 1986 to 2001, and continued to work part-time until retiring in 2011. She will be long remembered for her warm smile and robust greeting. She lived well and will be missed greatly.
Peggy had a love for all animals and a strong commitment to helping the less fortunate of our furry friends.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Linda. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred , and brother, Charles.
A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford Ore. Chaplain Fred Grewe will officiate. Contributions may be made to the Southern Oregon Humane Society, 2910 Table Rock Rd., Medford, OR 97501, in Margaret's memory
