Mark Anthony Shumate

Mark Anthony Shumate, age 58 years, passed peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born July 30, 1959 in Florence, OR to parents Ivan Everett & Ellen Glenda(Abbott) Shumate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Lori Ann(Blunkall) Shumate of Central Point, son's Shawn Shumate of Central Point and Michael Shumate of White City, sister Glenda Shull of Gold Hill, brother Jeff Shumate of Sheridan, WY., granddaughter Madelynne Shumate  of Central Point and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
A Celebration of Life Potluck will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Twin Creeks Bandshell in Central Point, OR. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. A special Thank You goes out to his caregiver Donna Miller and the staff at Asante Hospice for their wonderful care.
