Mary Helen Urich, passed over on September 29, 2011. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1929. She and her husband, Emil, moved to Oregon in 1963 to enjoy the splendor of the Pacific Northwest.
Mary was a very dedicated mother and wife. She put her children first, staying home with them in their early years. She then began working for Sears & Roebuck as a sales clerk, a company of which she retired from.
While raising her children, Emil and Mary spent their spare time taking the kids to the Applegate River, where they taught their kids to swim, snorkel, and enjoy the great outdoors. Vacations were spent camping along the Oregon coast, walking the beaches and exploring tide pools. Mary enjoyed sewing (making most of the family clothes) in her spare time. She became particularly fond of quilting as she got older.
She will be remembered as a sweet, polite, cute woman, (comments made by all whom cared for her in last days). She is survived by her three sons, one daughter, granddaughter, and two great grand kids, each of whom will miss her presence on this earth.
