MARY E. UTTER The memorial service for Mary Essie Utter with be at 10:00 am Friday, July 6, 2007 at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Dan George officiating. Inurnment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Mrs. Utter, 90, of Medford, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007. She was born Feb. 24, 1917 in Bethel, OK. In 1966 she married Norman L. Utter, who preceded her in death in 1980. She had lived in the Rogue Valley since the early 1950's, moving here from Washington. She had worked in local orchards when she was young, then restaurants, where she met Norman. They later owned and operated a couple of restaurant's. Her passion was cooking and she enjoyed making handcrafts. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include: four daughters, Louise Nogle and Sybil Engle, both of Yuma, AZ; Ruth Fischer, Sandy, OR; Cindy Martin, Trail, OR; two sons, Kenneth Walker, Rochester, TX; Carl Leon Walker, LaPine, OR; 19 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elbert L. Walker and her second husband, Norman. Arrangements by: Memory Gardens Mortuary 773-7338.
