On February 19, 2021, Mildred Edith Davis Bishop, a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma passed away at the age of 95.
Millie was born July 19, 1925 in Zap, North Dakota to Lloyd and Edith Davis. She married Robert F. Bishop on April 25, 1944. They raised four boys together.
Millie attended Shady Cove school in 1936. At that time the school was a one room schoolhouse. She was also the school ping pong champion.
She worked at Douglas Aircraft as one of the Rosie the Riverters during World War Two. Later she became a stay at home mother, raising their four boys.
Millie loved to travel on cruises, as well as to Hawaii and Cabo. She also enjoyed watching the Seattle Mariners play ball. Most of all she loved traveling anywhere with her sons and their families.
For over thirty years nothing has happened in the neighborhood without Millie knowing. Millie and Bob have toured the neighborhood on a four wheeler graduating to a golf cart, but still keeping up on what is happening.
Millie is survived by her husband Bob Bishop and her sons David (Ginger), Tom, Duane (Que), and Robert (Nancy), 8 grandkids and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings.
