Minta Mae Skelton

Minta Mae Skelton, age 92, of Medford, Oregon passed away March 10, 2012 at Farmington Square Senior Care Community.
Minta was born April 25, 1919 in Hazel, OK. On September 30, 1939 in Norman, OK., she married Walter Ernest Skelton who preceded her on Oct. 13, 1996.
They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1955 from Norman. She worked at Harry & David for several years before becoming a fulltime homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, canning, RV traveling, Bible study and playing table games.
Survivors include two daughters; Jacquelyn Nissen of Saddle Brooke, AZ., and Mary Miles of Meridian, ID., two grandsons, two granddaughters and six great granddaughters.
The family extends their heartfelt appreciation for the compassionate care that Farmington Square and Asante Hospice provided for Minta.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, March 16, 2012 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Rogue Valley Medical Center - Asante Hospice, the Alzheimers Assn or your favorite charity. Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements.
