Morley H. Pingle

Morley H. Pingle, 99, of Butte Falls, OR. passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 in the serene surroundings he loved at his ranch gazing over his fields of cattle & beautiful valley of tall trees. Morley was born March 24, 1910 in Bothwell, Ontario, Canada. One of six children born to Harry & Florence(Reynolds) Pingle. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Julia May(Hubbard) Pingle and three children. He is survived by two daughters; Ellen Livingston of Medford, OR. and Morlene Atkinson of San Clemente, CA., a son Allan Pingle of Eagle Point, OR., seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Morley was kind, generous and had a zest for life and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. A celebration of life ceremony will be held 2:00PM Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Memory Gardens Chapel. A reception will follow. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00AM to 1:00PM prior to the service. Interment will be in Siskiyou Memorial Park, Medford, OR. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Jackson County 4H, 569 Hanley Rd., Central Point, OR 97502.
